Arrive at Munnar and checkin to the hotel by 12 P.M.Enjoy your welcome drink and settle down at your room facing the tea plantations.

Post lunch you can visit the Tata tea museum which is sure to quench your thirst for knowing how tea is prepared. It displays the rudimentary tea roller to the fully automated modern tea factory. A section of the Tea museum also houses classic bungalow furniture, typewriters, wooden bathtub, magneto phone etc. Visitors can also taste or purchase a variety of flavours of tea.

At the end of the day you might want to spend a quiet and relaxing evening at the 16 acre blossom park where you could just walk around romancing.

Return to hotel by evening and a candle light dinner will be awaiting you where you can exchange glances and cherish your moments together.


Wake upto a misty morning and you can walk through the plantations breathing in the morning freshness. After breakfast the cab would be ready to take you far away from the city buzz to meadows and lakes.

If you are a person who love flowers you will be taken to the flower garden which has a wide range of flowers on display and you can even buy a flower for your sweet heart.

Followed by garden visit you will be guided to Mattupetty dam enroute which you can see honey bee trees and eucalyptus trees. There is also a quiet place on the way to dam where you can alight and sit by the lake shore.

Echo point is serene with its beautiful lake and surrounding rolling grasslands and tall trees. You can choose for a pedal boating in the lake and drift slowly through the lake and do not forget to shout on top of your voice to echo your voice around the hills.

Return to hotel and cuddle near the camp fire that can be arranged subject to weather conditions.


After an early breakfast check out of your hotel and leave for Kumarakom. While climbing down the winding hills let the sweet memories in Munnar flash before you.

Kumarakom is famous for its backwaters and wide variety of flora and fauna. That’s not it, it is also well known as the place where British missionary Alfred George Baker and his four generations lived. The house built by Baker is now restored into a hotel by Taj group.

Check-in to a resort by the Vembanad lake side. You shall be greeted with welcome drinks.

The bed shall be decorated with flower and fruit baskets made available in your room. Treat yourself to some delicious Kottayam style dishes. The people of Kottayam have a unique way of preparing fish curry in which they use kokum as the souring agent instead of tamarind and avoid coconuts.

Post lunch you could relax at the pool or spend time exploring the resort.

Set off for an evening cruise in the backwaters or explore the internal canals and local life.

Return to hotel and a spend the rest of your day at leisure.


Early morning visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary which can be toured by canoes arranged by local fishermen at the entrance of the sanctuary. Best time to visit sanctuary is morning and evening. It is open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. To watch Migratory birds, November to February is the best time.

Return to hotel for breakfast and bid goodbye to Kumarakom with sweet memories of this small village.

Next you shall proceed towards Aleppey where a traditional house boat awaits you for an unique experience.

Check-in to your houseboat, also known as “kettuvallam”.

The cruise is for a whole day with overnight stay at houseboat. As the boat slowly cruises through the backwaters of Alleppey, you can sit back and enjoy the ride.

You will be welcomed with refresing tender coconut drink. The room would be arranged with flower bed and fruit basket.

You would be cruising through the inland canals that were the major trade routes in ancient Kerala and on the way you can catch a glimpse of local life.

The boat crew are excellent cooks and your lunch and dinner is prepared on boat.They can serve you exotic dishes the way you like it. You can also indulge in fishing activities and if you get a good catch, the crew would be more than happy to prepare a dish for you.

By evening the boat anchors near the shore and a candle light dinner awaits you. The pitch dark night , reflection of moon over the water and cool breeze from Vembanad lake sets the right ambience for your romantic dinner.


Wake up to a fresh morning with sights of fishermen at work for fresh catch of the day.

Enjoy your delicious breakfast and tea served at boat as it floats through the lake to wind up the joyful ride.
